2. The Church
JESUS:
I hear and agree with You, Heavenly Father! It is very heartbreaking to
hear the scandals of child abuse in the hands of priests and it is
outrageous and outright unforgivable for the hierarchy to cover it up,
and let it go on for such a long time without a concern for the victims
and the village, just to preserve their own corrupt place in the
village.
“Thou Shalt be the duty of the church
to expose any wrongdoing of a few to preserve
thou sanctity of the church and the believers.”
GOD:
It is incomprehensible and unforgivable. It is much easier for the
predators to sincerely repent, and be reformed and forgiven than those
who cover up for them. In my heart, I can’t ever allow them in my eternal
garden as they have betrayed the purity of children who innocently and
wholeheartedly come to the church to serve and to learn the gospel.(1)
The church has failed to rise against tyranny and injustice while being
silent or turning a blind eye when it should have been at the forefront
of eradicating hate, injustice, hunger, and disease to reduce pain and
suffering.
