7. The Internet and the Good News

GOD:

My Son, the good news is the masses finally have a means that will set them free, the Internet and social media, to network their desire for freedom and love of thy Neighbor. I’m so rejoiced by the “Arab Spring” that has come to be known and is spreading like wildfire to bring back the “government of the people, by the people, for the people,¹” I bless that. I’m saddened for their pain and suffering and that it took over 2,000 years for them to achieve it.

But no longer can the information be controlled by a few, whether it be the church or so-called “government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Although I’m aware there is an all-out effort by current corrupt governments around the world to control the Internet in order to keep their corrupt agenda in place, they will not succeed as I have blessed those who stand against tyranny and injustice that has deprived them and their children from the freedom and the life that they deserve and the one I cherishingly bestowed upon them!⁽¹⁾

It is the duty of every Christians and others to fight any restrictions that deny the free flow of information, as knowledge brings honor and trust that will set them all free and prosperous!

I have no doubt the villagers will succeed and peace and love for thy neighbors will prevail as I have hoped all along.

My Son, you shall return in glory as you deserve. And at a time that peace and tranquility will be upon them.
 

JESUS:

Thank you, Heavenly Father. You are the merciful and the all powerful.

I’ll stand at your command to return and rejoice Your children’s glory!

But proposed legislation could seriously curb freedom of speech and privacy, threatening the internet as we know it. And will this mean the end of a free and global internet? SOPA, the Stop Online Piracy Act, and PIPA, the Protect Intellectual Property Act, were meant to crack down on the illegal sharing of digital media. The bills were drafted on request of the content industry, Hollywood studios and major record labels. The online community rose up against the US government to speak out against SOPA, and the bill was effectively killed off after the largest online protest in US history. But it was only one win in a long battle between US authorities and online users over internet regulation. SOPA and PIPA were just the latest in a long line of anti-piracy legislation US politicians have passed since the 1990s. (More)
