23. Torture and Mistreatment of Prisoners
GOD:
My view on torture is clear. No one has the right to torture any other
human or living thing that feels pain as it is against My wishes and
beneath My children. Those misguided individuals or governments
conducting torture under any notions whether in the name of village
security or gathering information, are wrong and sinners, as the fallen
and desperate individuals captured with their hands and feet tied and
their eyes blindfolded, are no longer a threat to anyone and must be
cared for with love and mercy.
I am very much against torture as My own Son Jesus was tortured by those
morally corrupt who had the upper hand. I command all of My children
shalt be merciful and compassionate toward their enemies as that is the
only way to convert them to useful villagers. And furthermore, torturing
a captured enemy never produces any valuable results, rather desperate
and stressed captured will tell you what you want to hear to stop the
pain.(1)
