THE REVELATION IT WAS TO BE
That morning, Rock woke up and sat at his desk as he did everyday
writing about his blessed life, not so much to brag about it, rather to
let others know that how blessed he was. He wanted people to know that
God
is kind and caring only if one recognizes it and stays true and
righteous with Him. He wanted everyone to know how important
God
was in their lives as
He
was in his. But this particular morning, a sudden surge of words of the
scripture and
God’s
name and His commandments overtook his mind to the point of exhaustion.
He put his head down on his desk and began to pray, asking
God
for directions and salvation to save the day.
Suddenly, he lifted his head and began to type in what was flowing like
a river to his mind. He wrote and wrote what had never crossed his mind.
The verses and the language that they came was not to be what he knew or
of his own. They were
God-inspired
words of salvations that the world had been waiting for so long. It
spoke of the Second Coming and of these dire times. It was commanded to
be called the “Book of the Prelude.” In it, He revealed what to become
the guide to the salvation of mankind and to lay the ground for the
second coming of His Son!
He was scared and elated at the same time. He was apprehensive as he
didn’t think he was worthy of receiving the amazing revelation at all.
He was fearful of those who would not believe him and would ostracize
him for it. He cried and begged
God
to be exempted from it for not being worthy of its kind. But the
revelation kept coming. His wife was surprised and worried. Day after
day, he rose to write what was gathered in his mind the night before as
if emptying a vessel that had been filled to the ream.
This went on for weeks as he faithfully sat and wrote day and nights.
Then, one morning came the worse news of his lifetime. His wife of
thirty-year told him that she was leaving him for another man. It was
devastating news that shattered his belief in marriage and the holy
union that he was so strongly believed in. He cried loud and long. He
begged his wife for it not to be the truth.
He prayed to
God
and asked for His mercy and for his forgiveness. He asked for his wife
back. He couldn’t believe that
God,
who had loved him so much and looked over him for so long, had allowed
for this to happen. After all, He was the One who had sent her from
heaven to be his beloved wife, to love and to cherish each other in His
holy union. How could it be true? How could
He
allow it to happen, breaking his and so many people’s hearts as a
result? |
