Satan: My
Lord,
In that case, I shalt meekly ask again that You do what I did to Job as
I am powerless when it comes to your chosen Levi. But I am certain he
will break down once You strip him from the blessings he had. From his
beloved wife, from his home, from his friends and from all of the
earthly possessions that he worked so hard to attain!
God:
Then what is left there for you to challenge My devoted Levi with?
Satan: My
Lord,
I’m certain he will denounce and curse You once he learns You had
stripped him from his dearly loved wife alone. She is all matters to him
as he loves and cares for her as if there are no others.
God:
I know, as I had sent her to him to care and love him as he has been My
chosen Levi from the beginning.
Satan: My
Lord,
I am all aware of Your blessings on him. That’s why I need Your help to
bring him down to his knee. That makes him weak, and with my continual
malicious plans, that will put so much pain in his path that he’ll never
be able to sleep or smiles another time!
Anything he likes or tries, I’ll turn bad. I’ll turn all his beloved
friends against him, and I’ll poison their mind to reject him. I’ll make
his younger brothers to belittle and look down on him. As I know, he is
a proud and upstanding man. He is a provider and creator of jobs for
others. He is a caring and kind-hearted man. He is a well-loved and
respected man of his own domain.
My
Lord,
no men, can stand so much pain. I’ll give him space in between that
makes him believe he is on solid ground once again, and then I’ll pull
the rug from under him. Each time it makes his head spin and makes him
lose confidence.
I’ll seduce him with young beautiful women. I know he loves women and
can’t stand being without a love a woman as he was with his beloved wife
every day and cherished his fidelity. I make him lay alone in his empty
bed night after nights yearning for a holy union to keep his heart and
side warm.
My
Lord,
no men I know, has ever been able to withstand so much adversity and
pain at once. He’ll snap like a weak twig of a dead tree. I have
corrupted the incorruptible; I’ve even corrupted Judas Iscariot, Your
Son's trusted friend and confidant to betray Him for a meager thirty
pieces of silver. Human is feeble and vulnerable. I am the beast of
burden, and the weight of my burden crushes the strongest.
