Again, God was in witness and could not
bear his pain. He was to send him a friend. At night he spent many hours
with his Godsend friend. The only place
he could sit still while bearing the pain. His name was “Kenneth,”
although he was simply known as “Ken,” a gentle and Godly of a man with
a smile and optimistic mind to give him hope and comfort all night. Rock
needed him as he understood his pain and tried to comfort him as they
often spoke of God and what plans He
had
for them in mind. Ken welcomed him to his house night after nights and
kept him company and helped prevent him from losing his mind. He
believed Ken was a God’s assigned angel
to help him along, to comfort his broken soul, and to ease his shattered
mind.
Besides his pain for the loss of his now an adulteress wife, he was
apprehensive about his Godly task. Many
days he cried, asking God for heavenly
signs to assure him of what he was writing was a
Godly job. God had heard him as the heavenly signs kept coming. First, there
were the unsolicited emails from a pastor he had never known or ever
heard of him before. In them, he saw messages that were clearly marked
and directed at him. They were comforting words and a blessing to read.
But he wanted more as his soul was still in doubt as this was not at all
an ordinary task at hand. He walked the beach daily, crying and asking
God for more definite and heavenly signs.
HEAVENLY SIGNS THEY WERE TO BE
It
had been a stormy month. The ocean was rough, and tides were high, and
the skies were dark for weeks at times. But on that day, there was a
pure blue sky. The clouds had finally lifted, and the sun was about to
rise. He rushed to the beach as he was up and could not sleep all night.
The
beach was littered with the debris from the many days of ponding storms.
Driftwoods, trash, and leaves had covered every inch of the sands.
Barefooted, he walked carefully through the debris to reach the edge and
for the water to be at his feet. The ocean had calmed. The waves were
small as they gently inched up at his feet. The tied was going out and
with it a smooth canvas of unadulterated sands. The sun was just
ascending above the water, coloring everything in its majestic golden
hue.
He
wandered aimlessly at the edge of the water, crying and asking
God for signs to help ease his agonizing
pain, signs to prove to him that He was the sole source of it all.
