Asking God for direction and signs to ease my pain and confusion
The
2nd Heavenly Sign – Mother Mary statue
(Cont.)
Mother Mary holding a Torch ( a guiding light) in one hand and the
Scripture (Commandments) and Holy water (Blessing) in her other hand
while standing on a coiled serpent (keeping enemies at bay) are messages
that are crystal clear -
“Follow Me, and I
will make you fishers of men.”

Overjoyed by the finding but still apprehensive, I prayed to God for
more signs as if the statue of Mother Mary wasn’t a tremendous enough of
a divine sign. I kept walking south on the edge of the water while
holding tightly to the statue in my hand as I knew by then God has
answered my prayers so valuable with her - what an honor and blessing
and what a magnificent sign it is - assuring me of His love and
protection.
Another significant of the Mother Mary's statue for my generations is
the song, "Let it Be" by the Beatles that always plays in my/our heads
that sums it up as well:
"When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary
comes to me,
Speaking words of wisdom, Let it be . . . And in my hour of
darkness,
She is standing right in front of me, Speaking words of wisdom, Let
it be . . .
Let it be, let it be, (Ooh) . . . Whisper words of wisdom,
(Ooh-ooh), Let it be . . .
And when the broken-hearted people, Living in the world agree, There
will be an answer, Let it be . . ."
