1. Restoring the Village (Cont.)
GOD:
Yes! I’m very disappointed in the church, the Catholic Church in
particular, for doing exactly the opposite and amassing a fortune in the
face of all the hunger, poverty, and despair in the village. The church
committed the most heinous crimes against children and unforgivable
cover-ups of those crimes among many other appalling scandals and
significant
ethical issues!1
JESUS:
I agree, Holy Father. It is the greed and disregard for Your
commandments that has brought about all of the ills of today’s dire
conditions. I am further saddened and concerned that some devoted
Christians think and believe that the purpose for my second coming is to
settle the score and slaughter the nonbeliever.
Me! Holy Father, me.
I, who told them;
“But I say unto you, That
ye resist not evil:
but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also.”
(Matthew 5:39)
promoting your love and preaching your gospel would come back the second
time to create a river of blood many hundreds of miles long and so many
miles wide!
I, who told them about Your love, compassion, and generosity for them! I
who spoke of Your commandments to help keep them righteous, safe, and
prosperous!
The fact that Christians would misunderstand my teachings in such a way
is heartbreaking and very sad, Holy Father!
